Rick Van Dyke is a naturalist, a gardener, a teacher, an artist/maker and potter. He owns Fireseed Clay Art Studios, a community working space of over 25 potters. He makes sculpture and planters for succulents and cactus. His work is unique, organic, colorful, and richly textured. He wants his pieces to look alive, that they grew or were hatched from eggs.
